In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain the excess fat and return meat to the skillet. Add the water and taco seasoning and stir to fully combine. Let simmer until the water is gone, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

To make the dressing, combine the sour cream and taco sauce. Put into a squirt bottle for serving.

To construct a salad, line the bottom of a bowl with lettuce, top with meat, cheese, and tomatoes. Squirt some sauce and enjoy.

Serve with some fresh pico de gallo or picked red onions. Even substitute sliced steak to bring the recipe to the next level.
