Greek Chicken Souvlaki

Beautifully marinated chicken btes, skewered and cooked to perfection.

  • 1 Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces and place in a ziploc bag. Mix all of the marinade ingredients together and pour it over the chicken. Squeeze as much air out of the bag as possible, then seal. Combine everything well by agitating the bag with your hands, then marinade in the fridge for at least 2 to 3 hours, or even overnight!
  • 2 Skewer the chicken onto metal skewers, or wooden skewers that have been soaked in water for 30 minutes.
  • 3 Cook according to your preferred method: Grilled - Heat grill to mediu-high snd grill the skewers for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Oven - Preheat over to 450 degrees, Place skewers on a bkaing sheet lined with a wire rack. Bake for 15 minutes, then broil for 2 to 3 minutes. StoveTop - Heat 2 tbsp. ollive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook skkewers for 6 to 8 minutes per side.
  • 4 After cooking, transfer to a serving platter and let rest for 3 to 5 minutes.
