Cheesesteak Tortellini in Provolone Sauce

  • 1 Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • 2 Season the thinly sliced sirloin steak with salt and pepper.
  • 3 Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook untll browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • 4 In same skillet, add the onion, and mushrooms and cook until they are softened and golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • 5 Add the garlic and cook for 30 to 60 seconds until fragrant.
  • 6 Pour the beef broth and heavy cream into the skillet, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • 7 Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cheeses until melted and smooth.
  • 8 Return the cooked steak to the skillet and add the tortellini. Stir everything together until well combined and coated with the cheese sauce.
  • 10 Garnish with chopped Fresh Parsley before serving.
