  • 1 Whisk together the dry ingredients in a large bow. Flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, & Cornstarch.
  • 2 In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, mix together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. To this add the peanut butter and mix until well incorporated. Add the vanilla and eggs,, one at a time, scraping down the bowl after each. Reduce speed to low and slowly add the dry ingredients until they are just incorporated and the batter is smooth, ba careful not to overmix.
  • 3 Chill to dough right in the mixer bowl for about 1 hour.
  • 4 Form the dough into 1 1/5 tbsp. balls and place 2-inches apart on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Press a criss-cross pattern into each bowl using a fork that has been dipped into sugar.
  • 5 Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees until the edges are golden brown and the center is slightly puffy. Remove from the oven and then transfer toa cooling rack after 3 to 4 minutes.
  • 6 While the cookie are cooling, say just after they are moved to the cooling rack, try pressing a Hershey Kiss into the middle of each cookie.
