House Fried Rice

AN east fried rice that is versitile and delicious

Instructions
  • 1 Add 1 tbsp. oil to large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the carrots, celery, and onions and saute for 5 minutes. Add th garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute. Remove vegetables and set aside.
  • 2 Add 1 tbsp. Oil to skillet and then add the rice, pressing it down into the skillet. Let this cook for 4 minues without touching it. Stir the rice and press down again to get good contact of the rice to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • 3 Add the vegetable back to the sillet and mix to combine. Add the sauce the pans and really give the mixture a good toss and stir until the rice looks like all have been coated with the sauce.
  • 4 Make a well in the center of the rice. Add a little oil in this well then add the eggs. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring as the eggs set up. Once the eggs are just about all the way set, mix them into the rice and really work them in.
  • 5 Add the peas and toss to combine. If you are adding any cooked chicken, shrimp, pork, or beef, this is where you will do it.
