Gochujang Chicken

Cbicken thighs cut into bite sized pieces then marinated in a guchujang sauce to create a saucy, spicy, sweet, and juicy dinner.

  • 1 Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and add to a large bowl.
  • 2 In a small bowl, whisk together the guchujang paste, honey, brown sugar, tamari, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade. Pour half of this mixture over the chicken in the bowl. Of the marinade it too thick, you can add some water to thin it out some. Marinade for 15 mnutes to 1 hour.
  • 3 Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinaded chicken and cook for 8 minutes or until fully cooked through.
  • 4 Add the chopped green onions with the other half of the marinade. Stir and cook for 1 to 2 minutes just until the onions have softened a bit and the sauce bubbles and thickens.
  • 5 Remove from heat and serve over white rice with toasted sesame seeds as a garnish.
